K-12 Program

This curriculum is a little different with the general curriculum we have. Deped called the new curriculum the K-12 curriculum involves new grading system called KPUP which stands for Knowledge, Process, Understanding, and Product and Performance. It also involves all the schools to have a nursery & kindergarten level. And for the high school was divided into two parts the Junior High school which includes grade 8, 9, and 10. For the Senior High school which includes the grade 11, and 12. including 2 more years for the high school students.
The K-12 program is a little disturbing and annoying because not only for the students because they added 2 more years and more money spent by the parents. But on the bright side they emphasize in the program on developing friendships also. So the teachers focus more on group reportings and activities.
In general the K-12 curriculum is not about adding more loads to the students and parents but also making more friendships through studying, and after the students finished high school they cannot study college and get jobs like social services.
